The Cost Of Depending On Referrals

Referrals are worth keeping. The problem is having no other dependable way to start sales conversations when they slow down.

New business arrives in bursts.

A few introductions can fill one month, followed by weeks with no qualified conversations.

You cannot target the clients you want.

Clients refer people they know, not necessarily companies in the industries, locations, or size ranges you want to pursue.

Growth depends on someone else remembering you.

Even happy clients have their own work to do. You cannot make the right introduction happen when your pipeline needs it.

A dry spell gives you nothing to turn up.

With no outreach channel of your own, you cannot increase the volume when referrals slow down.

And This Is Why Most MSPs Fail At Outreach

Every MSP sends the same generic pitch, and it lands beside every other business asking for a meeting. Prospects see through it.

The Solution

Cold Outreach Can Work. A Useful Webinar Gives Prospects A Real Reason To Respond.

A sales meeting is a big first ask from a stranger. A free webinar is smaller and useful. Prospects can register, ask a question, request the replay, or book a call.

  1. The topic earns attention

The invitation addresses a current business problem instead of asking for a meeting.

  2. The invitation tests interest

Replies and registrations show which companies care about the issue now.

  3. The session shows your judgment

Prospects hear how you explain risk and recommend action.

  4. Each response guides the follow-up

A reply, question, or replay request determines what we send next.

  5. The content stays available

The replay, clips, emails, and related pages reach prospects after the event.

RE: Thursday: How Spokane dental practices are passing HIPAA audits on the first try

Hi Alex,

Yes, please save me a seat. HIPAA is something we are reviewing this quarter, and I would like our operations director to join too. Can you send the registration link for both of us?

Thanks,
Sarah

From: Alex Morgan <alex@yourmsp.com>We are hosting a free webinar this Thursday on how dental practices can prepare for a HIPAA audit without disrupting the workday. Would you like me to save you a seat?
A useful invitation gives the prospect a low-pressure reason to start talking.

Here's How MSP Influence Works

Your monthly part is one review, one rehearsal, and one live teaching hour.

1

We plan the webinar

The topic comes from a problem your ideal clients already discuss with you. We turn those conversations into an outline, slides, talking points, planned questions, and a rehearsal.

2

We invite your ideal clients

A target list identifies the companies you want to reach. Email and LinkedIn invitations offer a free webinar instead of asking for an immediate sales call.

3

You teach live

Your live hour covers the presentation and questions. We manage the technology, timing, moderation, and follow-up.

4

We reuse the webinar

After the session, we publish the recording, create LinkedIn clips and follow-up emails, and use the webinar in ads.

What Happens In The First 30 Days

Days 1 to 7

Build the foundation

We define your ideal-client profile, choose the first webinar topic and date, buy the outreach domains, configure the mailboxes, and start warming them. We also begin the new website.

Days 8 to 14

Build the first campaign

We create the webinar outline, presentation, sign-up page, invitation copy, and content plan. You review the work while the mailboxes continue warming.

Days 15 to 23

Launch and prepare

Your new website goes live with the webinar sign-up page. We publish content leading up to the event, finish the presentation, and rehearse with you.

Days 24 to 30

Present the first webinar

You present the first webinar by the end of day 30. We handle the technology and moderation, publish the replay, and turn the session into follow-up content.

What You Will Have By Day 30

  • A new MSP website live and ready for prospects
  • Outreach domains and mailboxes configured and warmed
  • Your first webinar presented, recorded, and published
  • The topic, date, and plan for next month's webinar

Cold Email Starts On Day 31

After 30 days of warming, the mailboxes are ready. We launch cold email to promote next month's webinar.

Then The Campaign Repeats Every Month

  1. Every daySend cold email

Invite new prospects and follow up with people who respond.

  2. Throughout the monthPost to social

Share useful posts, webinar clips, and reminders for the next session.

  3. Once a monthHost a live webinar

Teach, answer questions, publish the replay, and plan the next webinar.

Repeat with the next webinar

Ways Prospects Become Leads

A prospect does not have to attend live. Any of these actions can lead to a sales conversation.

Direct replies

"I cannot attend, but this matters. Can we talk?"

Registrants

Some prospects book before the live session because the topic addresses a problem they already face.

Live attendees

An attendee may ask for a private sales call after the session.

No-shows and replay requests

Follow-up lets interested prospects request the replay or book a call later.

Website visitors

A prospect can find a recorded session after the live date and request a call.

LinkedIn clips and follow-up emails

Clips and emails help prospects learn about your MSP before they look for a new provider.

You Approve Every Message Before We Send It.

We agree on the target market

The written target lists the location, industry, company size or seat range, and decision-maker roles.

You approve what prospects will see

That includes the audience, first webinar topic, invitation, and follow-up plan.

We keep outreach off your main domain

A separate setup handles campaign email. We verify contact data, keep do-not-contact lists, honor opt-outs, and watch delivery.

The guarantee defines a qualified appointment

It lists the companies and decision-makers that count and excludes current clients, vendors, duplicates, and companies outside the agreed profile.

10 appointments that match your agreed ideal-client profile in your first 90 campaign days, or we work for free until you hit 10.

Most Prospects Are Not Ready To Switch Yet...Be The First MSP They Think Of When They Are!

Only about 3% of your market is looking for a new provider at any given time. The rest will start looking at different times. If they already know your name and trust your advice, you have a better chance of getting the call.

A monthly webinar will establish you as the market expert, and keep you top of their mind when they are ready.

Security incidentA near miss or breach makes a change urgent.
Compliance deadlineAn audit, insurer, or customer adds a rule the current provider must meet.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm not a great presenter.

You do not need public-speaking experience. You already explain insurance rules, compliance, security events, and business risks during sales calls. We use those explanations to create your outline, slides, talking points, and planned questions.

We rehearse with you and manage the technology, timing, and questions during the live session. You teach material you already know.

How much time does this take?

Beyond the live hour, set aside time for one review, one rehearsal, approvals, and follow-up with qualified prospects. This program requires your participation.

Will you work with a competing MSP in my market?

We review market and ideal-client overlap before we accept a member. If we serve more than one MSP in a broad region, we build a separate audience, topic plan, message, and campaign for each one. We do not share another member's contact data or custom work. We put any market or industry exclusivity in writing before you join.

What do I own if I leave?

After you pay all invoices, you keep the finished website and final campaign work made for your MSP. This includes recordings, slides, approved copy, edited clips, and exported campaign data. MSP Influence keeps the templates, methods, software, and other tools it owned before the engagement. Third-party platforms and licensed assets still follow their own terms.

How does this work with my current sales and marketing?

The program can replace separate vendors for webinars, outreach, content, and the website. It does not replace your sales process. Your team runs and closes qualified sales calls. If you keep using ads, SEO, events, or follow-up email, you can use the webinar content in those channels.

What exactly is included in the website rebuild?

We rebuild the site to show prospects a credible MSP and give each webinar a permanent page. We put the number of pages, platform, launch date, hosting, maintenance, and transfer terms in writing before work starts. You keep the finished site.

Do I have to pay for attendee gifts?

MSP Influence does not require attendee gifts. When a relevant MSP vendor offers marketing funds or attendee incentives, we ask whether it can support the event. Any approved incentive cost remains outside the management fee.
